We drove 2 1/2 hours northwest when we left Reed Bingham State Park to Bluff Creek Camp in Alabama. This campground is a corp of engineer park which are our favorite to camp. What a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Our campsite was #64 on the water which was actually the state line of Georgia and Alabama. It is Central time zone so our clocks changed as soon as we arrived.
There are alligators, catfish, carp, bass, brim & blue gill in the lake. Campers brought their boats to use for fishing. Plus, there are table cleaning stations in each site for the fishermen. Deer are everywhere and you have to drive slowly since there are also many baby deer who jump out in the road often.
We definitely recommend this beautiful place!
