Our story!

For several years now I have had the urge to travel which has been a dream of mine before marriage and children. My husband was never keen on the idea until one afternoon in 2016 he said, "let's do this!" The next day I began to sell, donate and give away items from my home. He was a bit shocked when he got home from work. I immediately called a realtor and our home sold within 24 hours for more than we were asking. I had sold, donated and given away EVERYTHING so that the day we moved we didn't even need a truck. We were able to drive away with everything we had left in both our vehicles. We moved to a smaller place directly across from the beach to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets for the following year before taking off to travel full time!

The Roads of Europe!

There have been some crazy roads in the United States that we have found ourselves on with our Dodge Ram Truck and 30 foot RV. There are even crazier roads we have found ourselves on in Europe. This video is an example of one that we drive up to visit with my mother. Now my mom loves this drive because she grew up driving on the mountain roads of Tennessee. I am from Florida where everything is flat and I don’t care for that drive at all. 

The pueblos nearby have very scary narrow roads as well. My mother drives a very small car and sometimes has to pull in her mirrors in order to squeeze through some very narrow pueblos. There just isn’t anything in the United States for me to compare these narrow pueblo roads. The most difficult thing for me is when I find myself walking on one of these roads and a car is coming. I basically have to find a front door entrance to squeeze into to let them go by and not become road kill!
